Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar has directed the Police Cyber Investigation Response Centre (PCIRC) to investigate former Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Zaid Ibrahim for allegedly posting seditious remarks in his Twitter account.

He said there was a need to investigate Zaid's tweet which he said was both seditious and confusing.

"PCIRC @PDRMsia will call the tweet handler to clarify the contents of the posting which has seditious elements," said Khalid in his latest Twitter posting today.

Khalid also posted a screenshot of the statement made by Zaid in his Twitter account.

The High Court today dismissed Zaid's three leave applications for judicial review to challenge the Attorney-General's decision to close investigations on SRC International Sdn Bhd and funds amounting to RM2.6 billion. -- BERNAMA
