PUTRAJAYA:Ministry of Health (MOH) is hoping for bigger allocation from Budget 2021 to enable it to provide better health services to the people, as well as to treat infectious and non-communicable diseases in the country.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said, with the bigger allocation, the ministry was planning to build a hospital for infectious disease and to improve training for health specialists.

“We really need a bigger allocation to enable the ministry to improve its services and health activities for the people,” he told the daily press conference on COVID-19 here today.

The government is expected to table Budget 2021 at the Parliament on Nov 6.
