The late Tan Sri Jamaluddin Jarjis is a technocrat and man with wide knowledge, recalls MCA deputy president Wee Ka Siong.

Wee said he managed to get to know the UMNO man better after he was appointed as the Minister of the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry.

“The Tan Sri Jamaluddin that I knew was a man who loved to joke but at the same time was always willing to share ideas on political matters,” Wee wrote on his Facebook page.

“To me, he is like an elder brother who always guided his brother,” he said.

Jamaluddin was among the six people on board the helicopter which crashed in Jalan Sungai Lalang, Kampung Pasir Baru, Semenyih, Saturday.
