KUALA LUMPUR:Malaysia recorded the highest new COVID-19 positive case so far with 432 cases on Monday.

The following are some of the highlights of the statement by the Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah today:

1) There were 432 new cases on Monday, the highest number of cases so far, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 12,813 cases.

2) The number of active cases with infectivity increased to 2,336 cases.

3) 57 cases were reported cured, bringing the total number of cases recovered to 10,340 cases.

4) No new deaths were recorded, with the death toll remaining at 137 cases.

5) Three new clusters were detected in Kedah and Terengganu.
