The Royal Malaysian Police have received 250 police reports nationwide on the stomping of the photographs of the country's leaders at the Bersih 4 illegal rally recently.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar confirmed this when contacted by Bernama today.

"To date, the police have received 250 reports throughout the country about this," he said.

On Aug 29 and 30, a 35-second video clip showing two women stomping on the poster photographs of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang went viral on the internet.

The action, seen as insolent, incurred the anger of the people.
