Malaysian Mixied Martial Arts (MMA) star, Peter Davis said it’s time for ‘a little revenge’ for his opponent, Eddie Ng in ONE Fighting Championship’s (ONE FC) upcoming bout, ‘Total Domination’.

The event will be held on 18 October 2013 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, where Davis will face Ng, a master grappler from Hong Kong in the lightweight category.

Davis, when contacted by Astro Awani said his game plan this time is to try as much to keep the fight standing up.

Ng, apart from his amazing grappling skills, has also a good combination of explosive punching power and submission techniques.

Davis revealed that he is more confident of facing Ng, compared to Costa Rica’s Ariel Sexton, in which he lost when the fight went to the ground.

“Eddie has a pretty good ground work... being trained Jiu Jitsu, but not as dangerous as Ariel who has a black belt in Jiu Jitsu,” said Davis who also tells his opponent to ‘be careful’.

In a statement by ONE FC, he also told that he will be pulling out more tricks than ‘The Magician’ (Ng) can handle and put an end to his winning streak.

“He's won fights against a couple of my friends and it's time for a little revenge,” he said.

Peter Davis is a Wuji Chuan exponent and the face of mixed martial arts in Malaysia. Along with being a mixed martial arts veteran, he is also a prominent celebrity in showbiz with a long list of modelling and acting roles to his name.

Davis has won five of his last six fights in impressive fashion and he will be looking to use his lanky frame and significant reach advantage to propel him to victory against Hong Kong’s Ng.

As for Ng, he will be making his fourth appearance in ONE FC and looking forward to protect his perfect record when he faces Davis.

In statement by ONE FC, he said he is excited to represent Hong Kong although he admitted that Davis is a tough opponent with a good all round skill set.

“He has the ability to finish fights standing up and submit people on the ground. I look forward to the challenge on 18 October and I expect nothing less than an all-out war!” he proclaimed.

Meanwhile, ONE FC CEO Victor Cui said MMA fans in Singapore are about to be blown away by this fight card! It is stacked with the most exciting fighters from start all the way to the main event.

“I can’t tell you how excited I am that Eddie Ng and Peter Davis will be facing each other on 18 October. This bout will mark a major milestone in the history of the Asian Lightweight division as both fighters have made it clear that nothing will stand in their way of reaching a title shot,” said Cui in a statement.

He said Ng is explosive and has amazing grappling skills while Peter Davis has an outstanding reach advantage and maximizes it with unorthodox striking.

Cui added that the bout will likely fill up the stadium as both fighters have droves of fans from Singapore and across the Causeway.
