Selangor state executive councillor (Exco) Rodziah Ismail from Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), the only remaining exco member who was not sacked by Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, today said she too agreed with the party's decision to sack Khalid.

Rodziah who returned from Bangkok, Thailand last night after attending a course as the party's representative made the statement today: "I wish to make my stand clear in the current Selangor crisis. I agree with the decision made by PKR. My decision to accept the decision is based on the mandate given by the people of Selangor during the 13th General Election (GE13) to administer the state of Selangor."

The Selangor Menteri Besar had earlier sacked five exco members comprising two from PKR and three from DAP.

The five who were sacked were Elizabeth Wong Keat Ping and Dr Daroyah Alwi from PKR, Datuk Teng Chang Khim, Ean Yong Hian Wah and V. Ganabatirau from DAP.

On Monday, the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah had given his consent for Abdul Khalid to continue his duties as the Menteri Besar although PKR had sacked him from the party.

Yesterday, Abdul Khalid had said the sacking did not involve Rodziah since she was abroad but state that the fate of the Batu Tiga state assemblyman would be decided upon her return.
