She stressed that the report which stated that a company related to 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) had transferred funds worth US$700 million (RM2.6 billion) to Najib’s personal accounts was done with malicious intent to discredit the government.
“It is an attempt to ruin the peoples’ confidence in Najib and the Barisan Nasional (BN) government.
“We want this report to be investigated as it is a form of deceit with no concrete evidence,” said Mas Ermieyati to Astro AWANI here today.

On Friday, the country was shocked by a report by WSJ of a discovery said to have been made by a Malaysian investigator who claimed to have traced nearly US$700 million deposited in what is believed to be Najib’s personal bank account.
The report was made based on documents acquired from government investigation obtained by the paper and Sarawak Report website.
At the same time, Mas Ermieyati also hopes that the report would be a starting point of the investigation over those responsible in publishing the article.
“I also urge Najib and the Bank Negara to lodge a police report immediately to uphold justice,” said Mas Ermieyati.
The managing Director of Ihsan Perdana Sdn Bhd, Datuk Dr Shamsul Anwar Sulaiman had earlier denied transferring money into accounts of individuals including that of Najib Razak.
Dr Shamsul said allegations that it transferred money for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes into Najib's personal bank account were baseless.
