Proton Holdings Bhd has launched the Preve in Indonesia, making it the fourth export market for the national carmaker.

This is following the carmaker’s launch in Australian and Thailand last year as well as in Brunei early this year.

“The Prevé was created with aspects of safety, performance, comfort, build quality, technology, overall design and convenience, setting the bar for new generation of Proton cars.

“We are fully committed to change the public's acceptability and perception about the brand and the 5-star ANCAP (“Australasian New Car Assessment Programme”) recognition for Proton Prevé is the proof of the improved quality and safety capabilities of our cars,” said Mohd Khamil at the launch ceremony.

He added that with the introduction of Prevé in Indonesia, Proton reaffirms its commitment and determination to be recognised as a reputable, trusted and preferred car brand in the region.
