Projek Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) berkeluasan 70 ekar itu akan kekal dengan namanya.
Pandangan itu diberikan Menteri Kewangan, Lim Guan Eng yang menyifatkan projek itu bukan diberi nama Najib Razak.
“Saya ingat, buat masa ini bagi pandangan saya, namanya Tun Razak dan bukan Najib Razak.
“Melainkan Tun (Dr Mahathir) ada pandangan beliau sendiri,” katanya dalam sidang media berhubung projek itu di sini hari ini.
Dalam sidang media sama, Guan Eng berkata kerajaan akan meneruskan projek TRX yang telah siap 80 peratus walaupun terpaksa menanggung dana tambahan berjumlah RM2.8 bilion.
Tambahnya, pihaknya turut mendapati lebih daripada RM3 bilion dana Kerajaan Persekutuan untuk TRX City Sdn Bhd (TRXC) telah diselewengkan oleh 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
