A photo of a Brazilian ‘team’ uploaded by Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin on his Facebook page has steadily gone viral.

The 'joke' came about after Brazil qualified to the next round of the World Cup. The photo came with a caption that reads, “This is why Brazil won last night. Number 11 scored two goals. Number Four man of the match. The ones in songkok was given the red card.”

The Brazilian team comprises Khairy accompanied by an Ivy League of members of Parliament such as Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, former premiere Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Defense Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and PKR chief strategist Rafizi Ramli.

It also featured two players from the national team. They are national goalkeeper Khairul Fahmi Che Mat and Johor Darul Takzim FC player Safiq Rahim.

Shaman King or Raja Bomoh Ibrahim Mat Zain and Rowan Atkinson of Mr Bean sensation also made the cut.

The photo received several positive response from Khairy’s Facebook followers.

“The best joke since World Cup started,” wrote Andrew Kish.

However, some were not in favour of Khairy’s joke.

“It is unfair. As a cabinet minister, he should promote the culture of respecting the country’s leaders,” wrote Mohd Yunus Sharum.

Tun Mahathir’s appearance received several positive responses.

“Tun M looks tough,” wrote Siti Ct.

Added Pami Nasir, “Dr Mahathir’s appearance is the best.”

One person asked about the appearance of former prime minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

"He could be the coach," said Rahim Alie.
