Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron said the National Transformation 2050 (TN50) can change the mindset and work culture of the young generation.

"We cannot guarantee the future of the young generation but we can prepare them for the future," he told reporters at Melaka Transformation Programme with youth and corporate organisations at Dewan Seri Negeri, Ayer Keroh, Saturday.

The programme aims to encourage and seek the people's cooperation to transform Melaka into a developed and peaceful state.

TN50, which was envisioned to chart the country's direction for the next 30 years, was introduced in January.

The TN50 tour has covered Sabah and Terengganu. Perak is next in line. --Bernama
