KOTA KINABALU: The flood situation in Sabah has fully recovered with all 88 victims involving 22 families at a temporary evacuation centre (PPS) in Beaufort here allowed to go home today.

Following the development, the Sabah Disaster Management Committee in a statement here said the PPS at the DSP Mohd Dun Banir hall was closed at 3.30 pm today.

"Monitoring will continue to help flood victims in need and to ensure their safety," according to the statement.

Floods since May 20 due to continuous rain affected 47 villages in Tenom and 75 villages in Beaufort.
