Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will begin his second day working visit to the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2013 with a televised session from Al-Jazeera.

The interactive session will discuss the economic malaise and its perils.

The WEF Annual Meeting is a much-anticipated economic forum, bringing together influential Leaders from the realm of politics, business and civil society to discuss a wide range of global issues.

This year's event themed "resilient dynamism", is a platform to showcase Malaysia's vibrant economic growth and lucrative investment opportunities against the backdrop of the global economic uncertainties in recent years.

Najib will also call on the President of the Swiss Confederation, Ueli Maurer, before hosting a luncheon meeting whcih will focus on Malaysia's natural endowment as a level for transformation and to promote Malaysia as one of the prime investment destinations.

The prime minister will also have a "one-on-one" session with Fareed Zakaria, a Cable News Network (CNN) anchor, later in the day on initiatives and achievements on Malaysia's economic and political transformation.

In another plenary session themed "Resilience in Diversity", Najib, together with his counterparts and other Leaders from Asean member countries, will elaborate on how Asean plans to unleash the next wave of growth.

Najib will host a Malaysian Night to showcase Malaysia's achievements and to boost Malaysia's presence at the WEF.

The Malaysian Night is expected to be a spectacular event, with a three-segment approach theatrical event on Malaysia depicting its past, the present and future possibilities and interests that the country holds.
