SIBU:Former Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) Protem Chairman Ngemah, Susan Clement Ingun along with more than 200 members announced their departure from the party.

The action was taken due to the lack of confidence in the main leadership of the party.

Susan explained that they were no longer free to voice their ideas and express any weaknesses in the party.

"We have lost faith in the leadership of the PSB party because of their failure to contribute not only to the development  but to the well-being of the people," he said in a special ceremony here, on Monday.

The ceremony was witnessed by the Deputy Chief Minister who is also the President of Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) Tan Sri James Jemut Masing.

She further explained that they now choose to be with PRS and support the state government led by Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg.

"We want the best for the people at N49 Ngemah.

"We believe in the leadership under Chief Minister Abang Johari and we want to support him," she said.

She further explained that Abang Johari is seen as more sincere and committed to bring development to the people in this state.
