The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has summoned three people for questioning today, in connection with abuse of power and corruption involving a Labuan federal government agency director.

Their statements were recorded by a team of MACC officers to facilitate investigations into a RM12 million food court currently being built in Tanjung Purun.

This brings to nine, the number of individuals brought in for questioning over abuse of power and corruption.

Confirming this, MACC deputy chief commissioner (operations), Datuk Azam Baki said of the number, six were women and the rest, men.

"Six are government servants and the others are members of the public," he said. --Bernama
