PUTRAJAYA:The Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) has informed that Sabah continues to remain the highest contributing state to the spread of COVID-19 with an increase of 927 cases followed by the Klang Valley area with an increase of 194 cases.

Here are five important points from the Director General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah at the press conference on 26 October.

1. 1,240 new cases of COVID-19.

2. Seven new deaths were reported.

3. Active cases with a contagion of 9,744 cases.

4. 94 cases receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 31 requiring respiratory aid.

5. Three new clusters reported, namely the Kapor Cluster, the Hampar Cluster and the Tapah Prison Cluster.
