Another 45 people have been diagnosed with the H1N1 virus on Thursday, bringing to 615 the number of swineflu cases in the national capital, Press Trust of India (PTI) reported.

With the death of two patients on Tuesday, the number of people succumbing to the virus has reached 11 this season.

Top health department officials said they are monitoring the situation.

The Delhi government has designated 23 hospitals in the city for treatment of patients infected with the virus.

The Health Minister has urged people to maintain high standard of personal hygiene to avoid infection.
