A Thai Airways plane skidded off the runway in Bangkok after the nose wheel collapsed on landing, slightly injuring more than a dozen passengers, the airline said Monday.

The incident late on Sunday involved an Airbus 330-300 carrying 287 passengers and 14 crew members on a flight from Guangzhou, the carrier said.

Passengers were evacuated using emergency slides at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport.

About 14 passengers were injured and sent to hospital, the airline said on its official Twitter feed.
