Sabah police are mulling the prospect of turning the Tawau Police Jamboree MTB XC Challenge into an annual event for the Police Day celebrations.

Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Ramli Din said the challenge can become a platform to unite the people and at the same time strengthen the rapport with the police.

"The Jamboree was held in conjunction with the 210th Police Day celebrations this year and the event received very encouraging participation, both from here and abroad," he said when met at the flagging off ceremony for participants of the Tawau Police Jamboree MTB XC Challenge 2017 at Onika Quarry Jalan Sin On by Sabah Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Tawfiq Abu Bakar Titingan, here today.
