Malaysia's diving aces, Pandelela Rinong Pamg and Leong Mun Yee, claimed the bronze medal in the women's 10m platform syncronised at the 15th FINA World Championship in Barcelona, Spain, on Monday.

At the final event held at the Montjuic Municipal Pool at 5.30pm local time (12.30am Malaysian time), the duo accumulated 331.14 points for the bronze.

The Chinese pair of Chen Ruolin and Liu Huixia, as expected, claimed the gold with 356.28 points, while the silver medal went to Canada's Roseline Filion and Meaghan Benfeito who scored 331.41 points.

Pandelela and Mun Yee delivered Malaysia its first-ever medal in the world championship by claiming bronze in the same discipline in the 2009 edition in Rome, Italy.

However, in the 2011 edition in Shanghai, China, Pandelela and Mun Yee finished sixth.
