A Johor Darul Takzim (Johor DT) fan who slipped into a coma after falling from a height of 15m at the Tan Sri Hassan Yunos Stadium in Larkin on May 25, died here, today.

Rosdhi Rosiman, 29, died at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital here, at 2.15am after being admitted to the hospital in coma, nine days ago.

The brother of Rosdhi, Roshanizam Rosiman, 23, said all the family members were by his side when passed away.

"All family members arrived at the hospital yesterday afternoon after the doctor informed us that my brother's condition was very critical since his kidneys had failed to function," he said at their house in Taman Tampoi Indah, here, today.

Rosdhi's remains were buried at the Kampung Bendahara Muslim Cemetery in Kebun Teh, here, at 11am, today.

Roshanizam said his brother was a die-hard fan of Johor DT and never missed a match while his mother Dara Mahilah, said the family would not blame anyone for the mishap.

On the ill-fated night, Rosdhi who worked in a lighting factory fell off the terraces at the stadium while untying a flag that the fans had affixed earlier in support of their team during the FA Cup first leg semifinal against Pahang.

During the 10.45pm incident, Rosdhi was believed to be standing at the edge of the supporting railing while untying the flag when he was accidentally knocked over by fans who were rushing to the exit when the match had ended.
