In the match last night, Felda United opened the score with goals by Shahril Mohd Saad in the fourth minute and a penalty kick by Indra Putra Mahayuddin in the 11th minute before JDT reduced the deficit via a penalty by Luciano Figueroa in the 34th minute.
At the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium, Terengganu beat Pahang 3-1 and placed the visitors as runners-up in the title chase behind JDT.
Terengganu's three goals were netted by Issey Nakajima-Farran in the 14th minute, Mohd Ashari Samsudin (32nd minute) and Mohd Nasril Izzat Jalil in the 66th minute while Pahang pulled back a consolation goal via Damion Delano Stewart in the 47th minute.
