Datuk Seri G.Palanivel has been asked to act professionally in resolving the MIC crisis and not accuse Barisan Nasional President, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak as culprit behind the political feud.

Cheras UMNO leader, Datuk Seri Syed Ali Al-Habshee said, the accusations hurled towards Najib shows that the latter practices double standard among the component party under BN.

“Palanivel must realise that he can’t accuse Najib incessantly or simply accuse the latter as culprit behind the MIC crisis. Please be profession in settling the MIC crisis.

“It is totally unfair to drag Najib in their political feud. BN has never gotten itself involved in any other political parties’ crisis and allows freedom to the party to settle its internal crisis independently,” he said when contacted by Astro AWANI here today.

Syed Ali was commenting on Najib’s statement who had summoned Palanivel following his comment made at PWTC.

Najib reportedly said that Palanivel should stop blaming other quarters and should oblige with the court’s decision. It was reported that he had made the comment in a Twitter updated posted Sunday.

Syed Ali stressed that each parties boast their own sets of internal issues and there were ways to resolve them.

MIC party members are not ignorant in deciding the future of their own parties. UMNO has its own set of issues too, so does MCA, Gerakan and all the parties governed under BN,” he said.

Palanivel on Saturday said, MIC had proposed to hold a re-election for party wings’ posts right up until the presidential post before the year ends.

Palanivel, who is also Natural Resources and Environment Minister said that the matter has yet to finalise since the appeal to revoke Registrar of Society’s decision for MIC to hold a re-election has not been finalised by court.
