However the invitation did not mention if there is any changes to the current state exco members.

Speculation on the changes started after the appointment of new Kedah’s Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Ahmad Bashah Md Hanifa early this month.

It is believe that three exco members that seem to be loyal to the previous Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir who resigned from his post on February 3, will be dropped.

Members of the Kedah exco currently consist among them are Datuk Aminuddin Omar, Datuk Suraya Yaacob,, Datuk Tajul Urus Mat Zain, Datuk Norsabrina Mohd Noor, and Datuk Mohd Tajuddin Abdullah.

Last week Ahmad Bashah was appointed the new chairman of the Kedah UMNO Liaison Committee, replacing Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir.

The appointment was announced by UMNO secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor in a statement.
