KOTA KINABALU:There is no such issue of UMNO and Barisan Nasional (BN) leaders being dissatisfied with the distribution of the new Sabah State Cabinet portfolios.

Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Mohd Noor said the party's leaders supported the distribution of posts.

"No such thing (speculation of dissatisfaction) .... UMNO is here (in the press conference)," he said briefly in his first press conference as chief minister at the Chief Minister's Office, here on Tuesday.

He said this when asked on speculation that UMNO and BN leaders did not agree with the distribution of portfolios.

Meanwhile, Hajiji who is also Chairman of Perikatan Nasional (PN) Sabah was also asked whether former Sabah Chief Minister, Tan Sri Musa Aman will be appointed as the new Yang Dipertua Negeri.

However, the Sulaman State Assemblyman (ADUN) did not give any comment on the matter.

In the same press conference, Hajiji also expressed gratitude to the state assemblymen (ADUN) who supported him to lead the Sabah government.

“Indeed, I am the Chief Minister to the inclusive State Government and will give full service to all the people in Sabah, regardless of differences in background and political affiliation.

"This trust and responsibility is huge and challenging," he added.
