The driver of the other car, a tudung-clad woman, apparently lost her cool with a steering lock as seen in an online viral video recorded by a bystander.
Digi, on their official Facebook page, said that they were willing to pay for the man’s car damages because “Things might have gotten out of hand but we saw a really patient uncle who showed us the value of empathy”.
The telco also offered to pay for the woman’s damages “if you could find it in your heart to forgive, we'll fix yours too”.
The Facebook posting has attracted a lot of positive buzz amidst the extremely hard-handed negative reaction towards the incident which many believed to be bordering on cyber-bullying against the woman.
