Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) 2015 result showed an increase in the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) to 2.65 compared to 2.62 the year before.

Malaysian Examination Board chairman Prof Datuk Seri Mohamed Mustafa Ishak however said the percentage of students who scored 4.0 CGPA in STPM 2015 had dropped 0.11 per cent, involving a total of 335 students.
“However, the results are expected to increase after the students who wish to re-sit the exam from March 3 to 9,” he said in announcing the STPM results today.

He said the percentage of students who scored CGPA of 3.50 and above increased 1.22 per cent or 4,711 students. Last year 4,285 students scored CGPA of 3.50 and above.

He said the percentage of students who passed the examination dropped from 97.81 to 97.64 percent for STPM 2015.
