Stop insulting any race or religion because such an act is more likely to attract religious extremists acting outside the norms, said Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.

He said the situation could also cause religious extremists to feel that the government was not doing anything and they would have to fight to defend the religion.

"This insulting behaviour is dangerous, we do not know their thoughts...stop any act that tends to insult any religion," he told reporters at Wisma Negeri Aidilfitri open house, Wednesday.

In another development, Mohamad said the state-level fly the Jalur Gemilang event in conjunction with the National Day celebrations would be held on Aug 13 at the Telok Kemang Square in Port Dickson.

He said the 'Kembara Jalur Gemilang' would also be launched at the same event.
