The prime minister's wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor today spent time at Prayas Children's Home For Girls in Tughlakabad, here.

Rosmah, who is now in New Delhi accompanying Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on an official visit to India was greeted on arrival by Prayas JAC Society secretary-general, Amod K. Kanth.

The centre which is managed by Prayas JAC Society, provides shelter to over 60 less fortunate children aged between six and 18 years.

In addition to formal education, the centre provides vocational skills training including sewing.

Prayas JAC Society currently operates more than 200 such institutions, providing shelter to over 50,000 children, adolescents and women across India.
