A senior manager from UMW Oil and Gas was among five people who died in an accident involving two cars at Km16 of Jalan Ipoh-Lumut near Batu Gajah today.

From the five who were killed in the 3.30pm accident involving a Toyota Vios and Mercedes Benz, two were identified as Anita Zuriana Abu Zarim, 46, from UMW Oil and Gas and Leong Kok Chuen, 37, while three others who died in the accident have yet to be identified.

Batu Gajah police chief ACP Mohd Nasri Omar said Anita Zuriana's husband Radzlan Mohamed, 50, and their two children, Anisa Rizuana, 19, and Azra Rhea, 13, suffered serious injuries.
