The missing Malaysia Airlines (MAS) bound for Beijing was transporting three to four tonnes of mangostees in its cargo.

MAS CEO Ahmad Jauhari Yayha said flight MH370 was not carrying any hazardous or valuable cargo.

As the mystery surrounding the disappearance of flight MH370 deepens, authorities have not focused their investigations on the passengers and crew on board.

On Saturday police visited the home of the pilot Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah and co-pilot Fariq Abdul Hamid.

They have also taken the pilot’s home flight simulator to Bukit Aman for further investigations.

Acting Transport Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said authorities were looking at all possibilities as to what could have happened to the plane and this included scrutiny on the pilots.

"During the early stages, we do not think the investigation should focus on the pilots. However when the investigation revealed that the transponder was turned off, we headed to the two pilots’ houses” said Hishammuddin.
