The body of a man was found in the boot of a car which was retrieved from a mining pool in Tasik Puchong, Taman Maju Jaya near here Sunday afternoon.

Initial police investigations revealed the unidentified victim was killed elsewhere about five days ago, put inside the boot of the BMW and the vehicle dumped in the pool.

A police spokesman said the Cyberjaya Fire and Rescue Department was alerted after the police received a tip-off the car was found in the pool at 2.07pm.

The department spent more than two hours to fish out the vehicle, he said.

The body was sent to the Serdang Hospital.

Sepang police chief, ACP Abdul Aziz Ali confirmed the incident.
