Close family and friends of Choi Hon Ming, 32, who died after a stray bullet hit him in a shooting along Lim Chong Eu Expressway last Thursday bid farewell to him at the Batu Gantong crematorium, here today.

Choi's wife, Sun Siew Chin, 32, in her eulogy described him as a wonderful man and expressed her pain at having to bid goodbye in such manner.

"I just want you to know that I love you very much and may you be an angel up there. You are a good person and I am thankful for having you in my life," she said.

Earlier before his cremation, Choi's fellow entertainer friends dressed as clowns released 32 balloons into the air and waved as a symbol of goodbye.

Loey Lew who is the owner of Parteeboo where the deceased had built his career as a clown said it was still hard for her to accept the fact.

"His stuff are still in our office and it is hard for us to accept that he will no longer be with us. May you rest in peace my dear friend. You will surely be missed," she said.

Some 100 people attended the funeral and Choi was cremated around 11.40am.
