Kelantan police seized two pistols and arrested two people, one of them a 15-year-old boy, in a raid at an unnumbered house in Kampung Bunut Susu, Pasir Mas near here at 3am today.

Kelantan police chief, Datuk Jalaluddin Abdul Rahman said the pistols, two genuine and the other fake, were found at a store located beside the house.

"We also seized a plastic packet which contained three pyschotropic pills, a Taser gun, two empty magazines and a magazine with four bullets in it.

"The genuine pistols were a Colt Super Automatic Cal.22 Magnum made in the USA and a Modele Mikros made in France while the fake was of a Baby 111-CAPA 3.8 model," he told a press conference at the Kelantan police headquarters here.

Also present was Pasir Mas police chief, ACP Haliludin Rahim.

The other man arrested was 29 years old and police are also hunting for a friend of theirs, a woman also aged 29.

All are locals and the two suspects in custody also tested positive for drugs. The teen was a dropout.

"They were hiring out guns to other individuals for between RM500 and RM1,000 at a time. Our forensics team will investigate if any of the guns had been used in shooting incidents in Kelantan," said Jalaluddin.

He added that Kelantan police had seized five pistols and an M-16 rifle thus far this year as compared to six pistols last year and nine in 2011.
