JOHOR BAHRU: Johor police have received five reports so far over a commotion which occurred during a ceramah (political talk) organised by the Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (MUDA) in Parit Jawa, Muar on Sunday.

State police chief Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat, who confirmed the matter, said the police would conduct an investigation into the incident.

"We will let you know the progress later," he told Bernama in a brief WhatsApp reply today.

On Sunday, a group of youths gathered at the Ceramah Mega Muar and allegedly caused a commotion when MUDA president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman was delivering a speech.
