The disbursement of the 1Malaysia People's Aid (BR1M) 2.0 will be completed by next month through distributions according to the parliamentary constituency, said Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Dr Awang Adek Hussin.

He said the ministry would ensure those eligible would recive the aid.

The sickly and bed-ridden recipients can send their representatives or the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) member in their respective areas to collect the contribution on their behalf, he told reporters after speaking at an election machinery course attended by 300 participants, here today.

Awang Adek said the BR1M 2.0, which involves an allocation of RM3 billion, would benefit 4.3 million households and 2.7 million individuals.

He said the payment would be made through vouchers which could be cashed at banks.

"All eligible Malaysians have the right to receive the aid, regardless of their religion or political view," said Awang Adek, who is also Bachok Umno division chief.
