Malaysia's export growth is expected to rebound in July, a Reuters poll showed, after a slowing in pace the previous month.

The median forecast from 11 economists surveyed in the poll was for July exports to be 23.1 percent higher than a year earlier, compared with the 10 percent rise in June.

Malaysia's exports have posted double-digit growth since December 2016, reaching a peak of 32.5 percent in May.

The new poll saw July's imports increasing 13 percent from a year earlier, compared with a 3.7 percent rise in June.

The July trade surplus was expected to narrow to RM8.2 billion from RM9.9 billion in June.
