AirAsia Cargo has been named "Low Cost Carrier of the Year" for both "Industry Choice" and "Customer Choice" categories at the Payload Asia Awards 2016 held in Hong Kong recently.
The Cargo division emerged as the winner for the dual-track awards programme through an independently audited voting process that represents the views and decisions of customers, business partners and Payload Asia readers, while also selected by an international panel of industry-wide experts who analyse and score the nominations received.
AirAsia Group Head of Cargo, Captain Chin Nyok San, said being selected as the best by both customers and industry experts spoke volumes of its service excellence.
"Our extensive flight network and coverage across Asia and Australasia is our biggest strength, but what really sets us apart is our dedicated staff who work tirelessly to provide the best service, as well as our dedication to continuous innovation," Chin said in a statement today.
The Payload Asia Awards 2016 is an annual event organised by Payload Asia and supported by Logistics Insight Asia in celebrating the excellence and highlighting the air cargo supply chain companies that have shone in the industry by rising above the very challenging global air freight market.
The awards covered more than 10 categories.
