#KiniNews: 1 car, 1 person - Phase 2 of MCO will have more restrictions

Under the second phase of the movement control order (MCO), the government would restrict the number of people in a privately owned car.

According to Defence Minister Ismail Sabri, only one person would be allowed to travel in a car effective April 1.

Apart from that, he said the National Security Council has also decided to introduce other restrictions during phase two.

These restrictions will include a dawn-to-dusk operating hours rule for all shops, supermarkets, hypermarkets, food and beverage shops and petrol stations.
