The stars were out in force at the annual British Fashion Awards held in London on Wednesday.

The glamorous ceremony held at The Savoy, was attended by the likes of Lily Cooper, Samantha Cameron, Gemma Arterton, and Princess Beatrice.

One of the big winners of the night was Stella McCartney who walked away with two awards, Designer of the Year and Designer Brand.

McCartney thanked the people around her for the awards.

"I can't even believe that I've got two awards. It's not really me, it's a bit surreal, it's not me really that deserves these awards; it's my team that, you know everyone works so hard on every single level to get these awards. And also everyone at home, you know the support I get from everyone is huge."

Meanwhile TV presenter Alexa Chung was awarded the British Style Award for the third year in row. The former model, which now lives in New York looked awkward as she was presented the award by fashion icon Valentino.
