Tan Sri Annuar Musa clarified that his resignation as Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) president was among others to devote more attention to welfare activities.

He said he would give special focus to three organisations namely the Kelantan Poverty Alleviation Foundation, Yayasan Persahabatan Malaysia and Mara Foundation.

"Apart from that, I want to expand further my family owned Al-Quran learning centre which has 300 students into a religious learning centre.

"At the same time, I have to attend to the construction of the Ulul Albab Mara Junior Science College in my parliamentary constituency (Ketereh)," he told reporters at Parliament lobby yesterday.

Annuar, who is also MARA chairman, on Tuesday had uploaded a copy of his resignation letter as KAFA president with immediate effect. -- Bernama
