DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng said the party maintains its decision to label the four Selangor PAS executive councillors (excos) as 'traitors'.

According to the New Straits Times, Lim said the decision to label the four men as traitors was not a personal attack but collectively decided during the party’s central executive committee (CEC) meeting on Monday night.

"It is the party's stand," said Lim, citing that the decision was made during an ad hoc CEC meeting and he had announced it as the party secretary-general.

Lim, was reported to have accused the councillors of betraying the principles of solidarity and democracy after failing to resign along with the six sacked PKR and DAP councillors.

Meanwhile, Selangor PAS deputy commissioner Sallehen Mukhyi accuses Lim of failing to understand the Selangor constitution, describing him as 'selfish' and 'ignorant'.
