KOTA BHARU: The fourth edition of the Kembara Riuh Keluarga Malaysia (KRKM) 'RIUH SOKMO! Bersama Celcom' in Kelantan, which began yesterday, managed to attract visitors keen on arts and culture.

Most of those interviewed described the programme as elevating arts and culture and empowering the development of creativity of local products.

Private college student Amir Asyraf Zuhdi, 22, of Kampung Peringat, said he came with his friends as they were involved in learning the art of batik painting in college.

"The Kembara 'RIUH SOKMO! Bersama Celcom' programme gathers arts enthusiasts comprising wayang kulit and batik artists.

"This is an opportunity for students to seek new ideas to be used during our lessons," he said when met at the Ketereh District Council Mini Stadium here today.


The KRKM 'RIUH SOKMO! Bersama Celcom' will be held here for three days.

For Anis Adawiyah Ishak, 40, said she was excited to attend the programme to find new sales products like clothes and handicrafts.

"Usually, such programmes offer many promotions and discounts and I am interested in finding the latest fashion designs with traditional motifs," she said.
