Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak arrived at the Royal Malaysia Air Force base in Subang near here from Jakarta at 5.40pm today.

The Prime Minister was in Jakarta since yesterday to attend the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) Summit which concluded today.

Immediately after arrival, Najib went on to chair an emergency meeting of the National Security Council (NSC) at the air base's conference room on North Korea's move to prevent Malaysians from leaving that country.

Among those who attended the meeting were Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi,Communication and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak, Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa and Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar.

Also Immigration director-general (DG) Datuk Seri Mustafar Ali, NSC DG Tan Sri Zulkifeli Mohd Zin, Attorney-General Tan Sri Mohamad Apandi Ali and Armed Forces chief General Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi Raja Mohamed Noor.
