SIBU: Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) will launch its manifesto for the 12th State Election, this Thursday, said its president Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh.

He said it would be published via all newspapers and social media platforms in English, Malay, Chinese and Iban, to make it easier for voters of various races in the state.

The launch of the manifesto could not be conducted as usual to avoid gatherings involving many people and the spread of the COVID-19 virus, he said.

"Our manifesto is unique because it is available in English, Malay, Chinese and Iban," he told reporters at a press conference at the Bawang Assan PSB office here today.

He said the manifesto, among others, will touch on Sarawak's autonomy, educational and socio-economic reforms, as well as issues involving women, youth, corruption, culture and religion.

Wong, who is also a former Sarawak minister, said PSB also planned to introduce financial assistance between RM200 and RM500 for childcare purposes.

Meanwhile, for the elderly who are unable to afford healthcare costs and living expenses, they will be assisted RM600 per month, he said.
