It’s REAL name is 9M-MRO but since March 8, the whole world recognises it as MH370.

The Boeing 777-200 is the 404th aircraft to be released by multinasional corporation Boeing.

Its first flight was on May 14, 2002.

On March 8, the aircraft departed from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to Beijing. It left the runway at 12.41 am and was scheduled to arrive in Beijing at 6.30am the same day.

The aircraft which carried 239 passengers including 12 crew, however, did not arrive at its destination.

After over 400 hours of search, the last destination of the aircraft was confirmed to be at the southern Indian Ocean – the most remote area in the world. How and why it diverted from it original destination, is still a mystery.

Until its final flight, 9M-MRO has a total of 20,243 flight hours.

Here are among video footages which display the glory of the aircraft during its time.
