PKR deputy president incumbent Mohamed Azmin Ali has been reportedly defeated in the Federal Territories at the PKR leadership 2014-1017 elections last Sunday.

Mohamed Azmin apparently only garnered 206 (13%) of the votes while Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim got 678 (44%) and Datuk Saifuddin Nasution Ismail obtained 651 (42%) votes.

Aside from Federal Territories, Mohamed Azmin is also understood to have been unsuccessful in toppling Abdul Khalid in Negeri Sembilan.

The former is said to have received 595 (44%) of the votes in Negeri Sembilan while Abdul Khalid garnered 695 votes (51%). Saifuddin only received 57 (5%) of the votes there.

In both states, there were no divisions that had their elections cancelled and it is said that the full results have already been obtained.

Mohamed Azmin has also reportedly been defeated in Selangor, where he was said to have obtained 2,385 (40%) of the votes compared to Abdul Khalid's 3,262 (54%) while Saifuddin got 324 (6%) of the votes.

There are 12 divisions in Selangor that had to re-hold their elections due to disruptions and allegations of vote buying and fraud on Sunday.

While there were divisions in Selangor that had to repeat their elections, Abdul Khalid's supporters are confident that PKR would be having a new deputy president soon.

Aside from losing to Abdul Khalid in the above mentioned states, Mohamed Azmin also reportedly failed to triumph over Saifuddin in Penang, Kedah and Pahang.

In Penang, the Gombak MP is said to have only obtained 1,316 (36%) votes compared to Saifuddin's 1,758 (48%) while Abdul Khalid's received 595 (16%) votes.

Saifuddin has also reportedly won over Mohamed Azmin in Kedah even though Pokok Sena division needed to repeat its polls.

It is understood that in Kedah, Saifuddin obtained 1,161 (50%) votes while Mohamed Azmin garnered 676 (29%) and Abdul Khalid 500 (21%) votes.

Saifuddin is also said to have won in Pahang with 546 (50%) votes while Mohamed Azmin and Abdul Khalid received 393 (37%) and 144 (13%) votes, respectively.

In other states, Mohamed Azmin was able to defeat two of his challengers even though there were divisions which had its elections cancelled.
