Death of Kim Chol: Second suspect holds an Indonesian passport - IGP

The second woman detained in connection with the death of a North Korean man by the name of Kim Chol holds an Indonesian passport, said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar today.

According to the personal identification details in the passport, the suspect is named Siti Aishah, born in Serang, Indonesia, on February 11, 1992.

BNM forex scandal: Cabinet agrees to setting up of special task force

The Cabinet on Wednesday agreed to set up a task force to carry out preliminary investigations into the losses involving foreign currency transactions by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) in the 1990s.

According to a statement by the Prime Minister’s Office on its Facebook account, the task force will comprise various government agencies, including individuals who are respected and experienced in their respective areas.
