All problems between Malaysia and Indonesia will be resolved through goodwill by the leaders of the two countries, said Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

He said issues pertaining to the economy, border, haze and illegal workers were always discussed in a cordial manner between the two countries.

"All problems can be resolved through discussion," he told reporters on the first day Friday of his four-day working visit to Indonesia.

On the itinerary of Ahmad Zahid Friday is a call on Indonesian Vice President Jusof Kalla.
